Wheelchair Hire at Longleat

Longleat has 6 wheelchairs for visitors to hire on a daily basis. There is no charge for this service.
Wheelchairs can be pre-booked via the main Longleat switchboard (Tel: 01985 844400) during normal office hours (09:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Sunday inclusive).

On arrival at Longleat, please visit the Victorian Kitchen Shop (situated to the rear of Longleat House, approximately 200m from the disabled parking bays in the main car park) to collect the wheelchair. Please note that Longleat will ask for a deposit (valid driving license, credit/debit card or car keys will suffice - cash is not accepted) at this point to ensure the safe return of the wheelchair at the end of the day.

A wheelchair can be used for the whole day, but must be returned to the Victorian Kitchen Shop one hour prior to the house closing (click here for house opening times)

In the event that you book a wheelchair and then do NOT require it for any reason then please contact Longleat (details as above) so that we may rebook it for another visitor.
